Boating Simulator Trainer

America’s Boating Club (United States Power Squadron) now has a Boating Trainer for you to test your boating skills. Please stop by the USPS booth and give it a try, you will not be graded nor ticketed and your insurance will not go up if you crash the boat. It’s for all ages! Practice running the boat, docking, learn the rules of the water and more.

 


Official Boaters Safety Course at the Detroit Boat Show – FREE!

Learn the rules of the water and other helpful safety tips for boating during a free six-hour boating safety seminar. Remember, passing this exam often accounts for discounts on your boating insurance. Participants will receive a free ticket to the boat show compliments of Yamaha. The Detroit Boat Show partners with the Oakland County Marine Division to offer this free boating safety class

Detroit Boat Show Gives Back

    A Boat Load of Food – Donate 5 canned goods at the door to Gleaners Community Food Bank and receive free admission from 3-6 pm.


Career Day – Attend for Free and enter to win $250!

High-school and College students can attend the 2nd annual Detroit Boat Show Career day for free on Monday, February 18 (President’s Day) from 11-6 pm. Students will meet with exhibitors at the show to learn more about job opportunities in the industry. Participants who complete the Career Day stops will be entered to win a $250 gift card!

    • And Career Day – The show is also hosting a Career Day for High School and College Students interested in finding out more about careers in the industry, including marine technology.
  • Tues., February 19: Ladies Day – Ladies get in free.
  • Wed., February 20: A Boat Load of Food – Donate 5 cans of food to Gleaners Food Bank between 3 & 6 p.m. to get in free
  • Thurs., February 21: Millennial’s Night Out
